TCE is seeking excellent early career researchers

Bridgestone Corporation is the leader company in global tyre market thanks to continuous introduction of new technologies. Within EMEA business unit, the European technical center (TCE) located in Rome Italy is providing technical solutions to the market. TCE is seeking excellent early career researchers intending to submit an application linked to the Marie Sklodowska-Curie Individual Fellowship Actions (IF-MSCA) within Horizon 2020, having Bridgestone as their host institution.

The research areas is now mainly concentrated into specific projects looking for specialists in the following areas:

Digital solutions

• Computer science and engineering addressed to data analyst/ scientist.
• Mechatronics Engineer addressed to computer simulation.
• Electronics Engineer addressed to automotive electronics

Nanotechnologies

• Material science addressed to New materials development and bioinspired materials
• Material Engineer addressed to computer simulation of nanomaterial structures

What are the MSCA Individual Fellowships?

IF-MSCA is a mobility program funded by the European Commission which aims to contribute to the career development of researchers, and their future employability. Link to the Participant Portal for more information and related documents.

Who can apply?

• Promising researchers from anywhere in the world: all nationalities can apply
• Mobility is a fundamental rule: you have to come to Europe or move within Europe
• Experienced researchers only: doctoral degree or at least four years' full-time research experience by the time of the call deadline
• All areas of research are considered as IF-MSCA are bottom up actions

Bridgestone TCE is having in one location all phases of tyre, process and equipment design and development for passenger, commercial van, truck/bus and agricultural tyres for EMEA manufacturing facilities BRIDGESTONE TCE as host institution, through its HR Office, will provide support throughout the proposal preparation process. Acting as a local contact point of the EURAXESS network will assist the funded candidates on any issue related to mobility.
